Accomplishments

Erika Barr, Ph.D.

Dr. Barr earned her Ph.D. in May 2007 from the Department of Biological Sciences. From July 2007 - January 2008, she is a Visiting Scientist with the Medical Research Council - The Gambia, The Gambia, West Africa.

Dr. Barr will begin her postdoctoral fellowship, March 2008, at the National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Aging. She will be conducting research in the laboratory of Dr. Dennis Taub.

Leon Dyers, Jr., Ph.D.

Dr. Dyers earned his Ph.D. in May 2007 from the Department of Chemistry. Dr. Dyers is currently a Lyman T. Johnson Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY.
